I have always thought about the extent of effort that one should put into making sure that there is quality content on the website, rather than keeping everything short, yet visual-oriented. Trying to determine the exact balance point between content and visuals that should be kept on the site for most users. Do you, when landing on the business website, actually go through the content or do you just look at the headings and images before making your decision on staying? I'm asking this since I am constantly debating whether or not investing my time into creating quality content is worth it when the users will hardly pay attention to it anyway. This question has arisen from my casual research on web design Bristol and the general proportion of visuals and content that is commonly applied in most projects. If you have tried implementing this yourself, do you know whether it made a difference in such indicators as time on page or conversion rates? If so, would the results be industry-specific?
